We will arrange a one-to-one meeting with you to discuss your specific requirements, however you may find the questions and answers below helpful for planning your special day.
Q: We are planning to have a champagne and canapé reception where can this be served?
A: Drinks can be served on the patio if weather permits or in the foyer/lobby area.
Q: Is confetti allowed?
A: Yes - preferably biodegradable.
Q: We are doing the table plan for our formal sit down meal, how many guests can sit at the top table and how many guests sit at the other tables?
A: Guest tables are usually round and set for 8 guests. The top table is generally prepared for the bride & groom plus 6 guests (8 in total).
Q: Will a side table be available for the wedding cake?
A: Yes we can provide a cake table, and also a cake stand and knife.
Q: We will be providing our own table decorations, seating plan, place names and wedding cake, when can these be dropped off?
A: Two or three days prior to your wedding, the earlier the better. Fresh flowers can be delivered on the morning of your wedding, after 9:00 am.
Q: What kind of music system is available to play music during our reception meal?
A: The Empire Room does not have any music systems, you are welcome to make your own arrangements for music and entertainment.
Q: What time can music be played to and what time does the bar close?
A: The Empire Room closes at Midnight and the bar closes at 11:30 pm.
Q: Will our guests have to pay for parking?
A: No, you will be sent parking permits for your guests, vehicles will need to be moved by mid-morning the following day.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No, the Empire Room is a non-smoking environment.
