Approach through wrought iron gates, down the lime tree avenue alongside the River Itchen and sweep round to the elegant façade. Guests may be greeted in the magnificently painted hall, where in winter, log fires will offer a warm welcome.

In summer, extensive lawns provide a wonderful setting for a drinks reception before sitting down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast in the library. The library can hold 175 guests for a drinks reception or 100 for a silver service wedding breakfast; for larger wedding parties a marquee may be used adjoining the library.
