Southampton based Events Bar Management; a subsidiary of Wise Catering is preparing to be bowled over with drinks orders at Wednesday’s one day cricket international, which will see Ashes winners England take on Australia at The Rose Bowl.
The company which boasts the largest mobile bar fleet in the country and operates bars at the home of Hampshire cricket is expecting to see in excess of 7,000 bottles of wine, 1,000 jugs of Pims and 70,000 pints of beer, wine and cider sold. The capacity 22,000 plus crowd will also munch their way through an estimated 30,000 burgers and hotdogs over the course of the day provided by Premier Food Connections of which Wise Catering is a partner.
Chris Treacher, Managing Director of Wise Catering commented: “Two major leisure events are taking place in Southampton during September, the one day series and the Boat Show.
