A Wedding Fair, organised by Southampton based catering firm, Wise Weddings, took place at Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley Abbey on Sunday, 23rd January.
More than 100 people attended the free event as brides-to-be took the opportunity to explore a host of wedding services from cakes, shoes and hairdos to venues and dresses.
Visitors received a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and met with a range of quality wedding service suppliers from all over the region.
Visitors were also treated to a catwalk show revealing the latest fashion trends for all members of the wedding party.
Event and Functions coordinator at Wise Weddings, Katrine Lee, said: “This is the first Fayre that Wise Weddings have organised and we hope that visitors left feeling wowed with ideas for their big day.”
Hampshire County Council's Executive Member for Culture and Recreation, Councillor Margaret Snaith-Tempia, said: “Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and its so important to make sure every last detail is perfectly planned. The Wise Wedding Fayre, based at one of the council's most impressive country park's, provided the perfect opportunity for couples and their families to collect ideas and contacts under one roof.”
