About our Menus
When planning your event, catering is obviously a major part of the occasion and we are keen to provide you with not only a very high standard of food and service but also flexibility when choosing a menu.
We support Hampshire growers and producers and where possible we source our ingredients from local suppliers. We are happy to work with your preferred suppliers to localise menus for your events.
Our menus range from informal buffets to formal dinners and parties. We hope you find our menus to be innovative; they are certainly mouth-watering, but if you have something specific in mind please discuss your requirements with one of our catering managers or our executive chef.
Vegetarian or special dietary requirements are easily catered for at no additional charge. Our menu portfolio includes many vegetarian choices. All you need to do is inform us of likely numbers - normally we allow 10% of the total numbers for vegetarian guests. Where possible we avoid using products that may contain traces of nuts and nut oil.
SERVING STYLES
If you would like a canapé or drinks reception our staff will circulate amongst your guests to serve from silver trays.
For informal Finger Buffets your guests can help themselves from the buffet table. We arrange tables casually with table cloths and slip covers. Please note that glasses, cutlery and crockery are not laid o ut on the tables.
For Cold and Hot Buffet receptions, guests will be directed to a buffet serving point where our staff will serve them their choice of the main menu items (i.e. meat, fish and savoury dishes). Guests help themselves to salads, side dishes, relishes and sauces.
For a Formal Seated Meal all courses are plated and served individually to your guests. If you would like additional vegetables or side dishes please discuss this with one of our catering managers.
