What is the minimum party size that you will cater for?

Our policy is to cater for a minimum of 50 guests, although we are happy to discuss individual events.  The final decision will be dependent on key factors, such as date of event and catering / liquor requirements.

Who will be my main point of contact at Wise Weddings?

Katrine Lee (Events & Functions Coordinator) will be your contact from initial enquiry through to quotation.  Once a meeting and site visit has taken place with either Paddy McCullen (Operations Director) or Shane Castle (Catering Manager), your Director / Manager will be assigned to your wedding and will see your wedding day through from beginning to end.  You are welcome to contact any of the team on 023 8043 9280, during office hours.

Can I create my own menu?

Yes.  Our Menu Portfolio is provided as a guide only and we fully appreciate individual personal preferences and requirements.  Providing your menu works logistically at your chosen venue, we are very flexible!

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

Yes.  We cater for all dietary requirements and if we are unable to adapt the menu to meet with specific needs, we will suggest an alternative dish.

Can I arrange a menu tasting?

Yes - we are very happy to organise this for you at our office in Woolston, Southampton.  Our fee for this facility is based on the total price of your preferred menu (one full portion served between two guests (so you can appreciate presentation as well as taste!).  Payment is required prior to the meeting and will of course be deducted from your final invoice, should you confirm your booking with us.

Do you provide Children’s menus?

Yes – we offer separate children’s menus for guests up to the age of 12, based on the same adult theme (i,e seated meal, buffet etc).  Alternatively your little guests can be provided with the same menu as your adult guests, charged at half the adult price (for a smaller portion).

Can I supply my own alcoholic beverages?

Yes – providing your venue agrees.  We are happy to advise on quantities, if required and can provide glasses, including ice to chill and staff to serve.  Alternatively we are able to provide a selection of drink packages, a full wine list and a range of bar services.

Do I have to pay extra for cutlery, crockery and table linen?

No – our catering charges are fully inclusive of staff, cutlery, crockery and table linen.

Is there a choice of table linen?

Our inclusive linen consists of white cotton cloths with disposable coloured slip cloths and napkins.  The disposable linen is of a high standard (3-ply) and we have a range of colours for you to choose from.  However, if you wish to upgrade your linen, we are happy to source these for you for an additional cost.

Do I have to pay extra for staff?

Catering – no, Liquor – possibly.  If additional staff are required to serve drinks / run a bar, a fee may be incurred.  Further information can be provided on request.

When do I have to pay a deposit?

A non-refundable 30% deposit will be raised as soon as you confirm your event with us, in order to secure your date and our services.

When do you need final numbers for the party?

A final invoice will be raised for the balance of all pre-booked catering and liquor requirements, based on final guest numbers.  The invoice is payable 30 days prior to your wedding.
