A masterpiece of design by Ralph Dutton, 8th and last Lord Sherborne, the 5-hectare (12-acre) garden unites a formal layout with varied and informal plantings in pastel shades. There are magnificent vistas over 32 hectares (80 acres) of parkland and rolling Hampshire countryside. The house contains Ralph Dutton's fine collection of Regency furniture, Italian paintings and hardstone items.
Defying the chalky, alkaline soil and exposed setting, he brought together landscape, garden, house and collection to form a sensitive and unified whole that was very much in the 18th-century tradition, albeit on a modest scale. It is by a carefully considered marriage of modern gardening, neo-Georgian building and neo-classical furnishings that he achieved his vision of tranquillity.
The Walled Garden can only be described as intimate and impressive; a beautiful location for a wedding reception or corporate event and provides the client with privacy and splendour.

The Front vista can also provide a magnificent setting for larger numbers with equally impressive views.
