Serving Styles

Whatever the type of event, our highly professional catering managers and in-house trained staff will be on hand to ensure things run smoothly and service is of the highest standard.

That’s why at Wise Catering we don’t use agency staff.  All the team are employees of the Wise Group and have undergone rigorous training to ensure they maintain our much envied high quality standards of service.

For a canapé or drinks reception our friendly and courteous staff will circulate amongst your guests to serve from silver trays.

For informal finger buffets our chef will create a stunning buffet selection. Typically, we arrange tables casually with table cloths and slip covers (for finger buffets, glasses, cutlery and crockery are not laid out on the tables). 

For cold and hot buffet receptions, staff direct guests to a buffet serving point where our chefs will serve a choice off the main menu. Guests help themselves to salads, side dishes, relishes and sauces.

For a formal seated meal all courses are plated by our chefs and served individually to your guests. Additional vegetables and side dishes can be supplied.

Where possible we try to avoid using products that may contain traces of nuts and nut oil. We cater for all dietary requirements.
